The latest frontier of adrenaline tourism is space tourism. The goal is to take off and circle the Earth, at heights never before reached. The idea is to create a highly profitable form of tourism that is only intended for people with a large wallet.

Clearly, private companies are developing such forms of tourism. Currently in the world, only three people are betting with their own company on space tourism. We are talking about Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Richard Branson.

SPACE TOURISM: ELON MUSK

The most famous one could be Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX. The same SpaceX that works with NASA and is in the space race. Elon Musk is in fact the entrepreneur with the most concrete and substantial proposal.

According to the projects currently in place, from 2023 there will be talk of space tourism for Elon Musk. His company has also recently won a nearly $3 billion contract to manage return operations from the Moon.

JEFF BEZOS

Responding to that project is Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon. The first takeoff should take place on July 20, 2021. Currently, the offers that have appeared for the first space travel have reached €2,800,000 according to the site Blueorigin.com.

SPACE TOURISM: RICHARD BRANSON

The latest business tycoon who is trying to develop space tourism is the owner of Virgin. We are talking about Richard Branson. A few days ago, a general test was conducted with excellent results in the US.

The company plans to enter into space tourism in 2022.

In summary, Bezos is the one who will start first, then Branson, and finally Musk. We\’ll see if there are any overtakes in the overall management of tourists. Obviously, this information can change suddenly as the investments are in the tens of millions. At stake is, in fact, the future of terrestrial tourism.
